Welcome to our Privacy Policy page. We value your trust and follow the industry's best practices to protect your personal information. The information you share with us helps us to provide a personalized experience when using Flapper. The page explains how we (1) Collect, (2) Use, and (3) Disclose your personal information. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. The terms “Flapper”, “Service”, “we,” and “us” include Flapper and our subsidiaries. All terms not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Service. “Personal Information” means any information used to readily identify, contact, or locate you, and includes some of the following: name, address, email address, or phone number. Personal data that has been anonymized ceases to be considered as personal data.

(1) Information you Share with Flapper

We collect your Personal Information when you: (a) Create your account with Flapper; (b) Use the Service; and (c) Communicate with us. We also collect information, such as anonymous usage statistics, by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technologies while you’re using the Service.

Collecting your Personal Information. In order to use the Service you have to create an account with Flapper. To register, you may need to provide Personal Information, such as your e-mail address or phone number. In order to reserve a Flight, you must also provide the following information for you and other passengers: full name, e-mail, personal identification document, a cell phone number, and credit card details (for online payments).

Making Payments. When paying for the Service, you provide your Personal Information to our third-party service providers. This includes your credit card number, expiry date, and security number, as well as your address, full name, and social ID number.

Customer Support. We may collect Personal Information through your communication with our Customer Support Team.

Cookies, Automatic Data Collection, and Related Technologies. Flapper collects and stores information that is generated automatically as you use the Service, including your preferences and anonymous usage statistics. When you visit the website or a mobile app, together with our third-party service providers we receive and record information on our server logs, including your IP address, cookies, location, and similar items. Cookies are small files placed in visitors’ computer browsers to store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Service may not work properly.

By using the Service, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the Service.

(2) How do we use Your Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to improve our services and communicate with you. We may also use such information remarketing purposes.

Internal and Service-Related Usage. We use information, including Personal Information, for internal and service-related purposes and may provide it to third parties to allow us to provide the Service (chat, payments, etc.). We may use and retain data we collect to provide and improve our services.

Communications. We may send emails to the email address you provided to us for transactional, informative, and operational purposes. We may also send personalized notifications to your mobile app as long as you have enabled push notification feature on your smartphone.

Remarketing. We may use information, including your Personal Information, to share offers we consider relevant to you. We currently use Facebook Ads, Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads as third-party retargeting tools.

Aggregated Data. We may anonymize and aggregate all data collected through the Service and analyze it on a group level. Such data might be used for trend analyses, research, or demographic profiling.

(3) Disclosing Personal Information

We may share your information with the following entities: (a) Third-party service providers; (b) Regulatory entities; (c) Courts.

We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission.

We Use Vendors and Service Providers. We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of the Service. We will share Personal Information, including your name and ID, with air carriers and national aviation authorities.

Marketing. We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission. We may allow access to other data collected by the Service to facilitate transfer of information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise be of interest to you.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your Personal Information if required by law enforcement agencies and legal bodies, such as courts.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, finance audit, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. We cannot control how such entities may use or disclose such information.

Safety of your Information

We take steps to ensure that your information is stored securely and in accordance with privacy laws. As any Internet company we are prone to cyber attacks and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

By using the Service or providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Service. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to you. You may have a legal right to receive this notice in writing. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personal Information from children under 14 years of age, and no part of the Service or Marketing is directed to children under the age of 14. We will take steps to delete it if we learn we have collected such information. International Users

Your data is managed by the company headquartered in the Federative Republic of Brazil. By choosing to use the Service or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the law of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with Flapper or the Service will be in accordance with the Terms of Service.

If you come from countries other than the Federative Republic of Brazil or regions with distinctive laws governing data collection and use, please note that you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
