With more than 700 active aircraft in service around the world, Britten-Norman BN-2 is widely considered "The world's most versatile aircraft ever built”. The updated BN-2A-9 version comes with an increased wingspan and fuel capacity, allowing for flights of up to 390 NM (722 km) in length. Ideal for high-frequency operations and charter flights in the Caribbean, the Islander offers a low-cost solution for all types of short-haul flights. The Islander accommodates up to nine passengers in its single pilot commuter variant. Wide side doors provide for easy access for passengers, cargo operations and ambulance missions. Capable of taking off from rough, short airstrips it constitutes an ideal option for operations in the Pacific and the mountainous areas.
